The laboratory of electroacoustics has the purpose of promoting the creation of musical works with high technological content, research activities in the domain of acoustical physics and the realization of systems for sound movement in space. Special attention will be given to the growing importance of new sound spatialization technologies in the creation of new contemporary compositions. The permanent laboratory of electroacoustics is a project carried out in collaboration with Istituzione Casa della Musica and Casa del Suono, the latter equipped with innovative sound reproduction and focalization systems for scientifical research, didactics and popularization activities. From this basis, the laboratory will rise as a natural evolution of the history of sound reproduction instruments and listening techniques proposed by Casa del Suono.
